Yep, I know exactly what you mean.

The more I delve into this online social media marketing sphere, I can’t help but notice that most of the people we are learning from seem to have made the learning process very complicated and present it to us in a way which might scare the bejesus out of us. It doesn’t matter which system you may be looking at, trust me, they are all pretty well much the same in structure, only dressed up a little differently, but we are led to believe that there is a bunch of serious structures we must learn before we can get started.

This would scare any newbie

In a sense this may be true and as your business grows it will be important that you learn these structures, but you have to ask yourself the BIG QUESTION, what was it that drove you to start looking at getting into an online business.  Simply –  TO MAKE MONEY! You may know how to send an email, post your dinner pics onto your facebook page and a few other maneuvers on the computer, but essentially like the majority of us, you are new to this. You are  a novice. And all you want to do essentially is to find out HOW TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE AND HOW QUICKLY DO I SEE A RESULT.

It’s about seeing some small results quickly while you learn the mechanics of social marketing as you progress.

If you could prove it to yourself by making even a $10 sale on some bit of advice, a sale of some sort even a membership, if you made couple of $10 sales, you would know that this money making stuff actually works. You will learn that to make $1000 sale will take up the same time and effort to make a $10 sale. That’s the good news. Then its up to you as to what scale you want to take this to. While you are pulling in a few bucks here and there, you can do some more research and start to define the direction you want to take with this new found knowledge. There is a bit to learn and come to grips with, that’s for sure and here lies a cross road where you will have to negotiate to determine which direction to take to find the strategies you need that will become your platform, and how quickly will that take. Do you start looking and comparing what is out there that fills your inbox day in day out or do you put your trust into one person or a group, someone who has done the hard yards, the apprenticeship of “been there done that”, who will guide you to the goals your are looking for.

That’s a big decision.

In my  experience over the last three years, I have seen people with the enthusiasm, with bucket loads of motivation, with good intent only to get bogged down with continual study, research, daily webinars, subscriptions, bouncing from one system to another because the results weren’t instant.  A long no- result time period turns into procrastination, becoming unsure of yourself, thinking you need more research just overwhelms you. These same people at the end of the day, became so exhausted, brain drained and disillusioned with stinkin’ thinkin’,  walking away because over time there was very little, if any return on investment and effort. These people generally were left to their own devices and not shown the correct process. And that’s been the problem with about 90% of those seeking to do business online, not because of the different systems or programs they were looking at, but because NO ONE helped them to define  the shortest, quickest and correct procedure of making a success of your business online.

You just have to look at the success some of the smallest and poorer countries had with their national football teams at this years World Cup. Because of the nature of the world game, the selection of the national team had to be pretty uncompromising because the coach only had 6 to 12 months to shape a lose body of players into a successful well oiled strategic machine, each player using their own strengths to combine with what the coach was looking for and building. More at home, your kids may have been lucky enough to be coached in their studies to ultimately get the marks everyone was expecting. So coaching and mentoring is nothing new. Its been around since Adam went to school at the Eden Garden High. Same as in sport, music, medicine, you name it and you’ll see the stars have all been coached.

We all want to reach our goals quickly so that we can put ourselves into a position where we can have the luxury of time and the funds to be able to do the other things we want to do. In other words, take control of our lives financially and socially and not to depend on any future handouts.

NIKE just has the greatest slogan – JUST DO IT

There are systems in place right now that have been operating since the late 1990’s that have an immediate payday results. Simple, fully automated, a complete business in a box changing the lives of thousands of people from all over the world.  A “get paid on the day” system which can be used as a cash flow for other income streams and  licensing programs used to develop strong monthly income streams which will give anyone long term income security. You just need to know that the systems we use are legitimate and have been proven over time and tested with success through their step by step daily guidance.

EARN while you LEARN………. and just START.

The future is looking unbelievably bright

How Australian consumers and businesses are using social media

This is the future – like next year?

We have been fortunate in Australia over the past few years: Sensis has undertaken an annual survey of Australian consumers and business to find out how and why they use social media. The report usually comes out in June each year. It is well worth keeping an eye out for as its data is invaluable.

Because I’m a lovely person, I’ve summarised some of the more useful, and often quirky, data from the 2017 report this year’s report for you. You’re welcome. 🙂

Social media use in Australia – key stats:

  • 99% of Australians have an internet-enabled device (we average three each).
  • 81% own a smartphone (59% laptop, 51% desktop, 45% tablet). In terms of age, 99% of 18-29-year olds and 96% of 30-39-year olds own a smartphone.
  • 84% of Aussies access the internet daily, with 56% accessing the internet more than five times a day.
  • 79% use social networking sites (up from 69% in 2016), and 35% check social media more than five times a day.

Where we use social media:

  • 57% use social media first thing in the morning, 18% when commuting, 21% during work (this seems quite low to me), 47% on breaks, 47% at lunch time, 71% after work/in the evening, and 39% last thing before bed. This changes quite a lot depending on the age group. For example, 79% of 18-29-year olds check social media first thing in the morning, compared to 43% of 50-64-year olds.
  • 96% use social media at home compared with 35% at work, 43% on public transport, 33% at restaurants/bars/parties, 37% in the car (I hope this isn’t while driving, although I suspect for far too many it is), 16% at sporting events and 14% while on the loo (!!!). Interestingly, 17% of males use it on the toilet compared to 12% of females, and 29% of these are 18-29-year olds. Yes, I also said ewwww!
  • About 35% use social media while watching TV, with 43% of these people watching reality TV.

 The sites we use:

  • Social networking sites used were Facebook (94%), YouTube (51%), Instagram (46%), Snapchat (40%), Twitter (32%), LinkedIn (18%) and Pinterest (10%).
  • In terms of messaging services, 81% use Facebook Messenger, 34% use Viber, 18% use WhatsApp and 12% don’t use any form of messaging service.
  • The typical user spends almost 10 hours a week on Facebook.
  • Smartphones are by far the most preferred device for social networking, with 81% of users accessing social media via a smartphone (a steady increase since 2011). This compares to 30% accessing it on a laptop, 28% on a desktop and 25% on a tablet.
  • Why do people use social media? Not surprisingly, 89% said to catch up with friends and family, 43% said to watch videos, 26% said to find or connect with people with the same interests, 18% said to find out about brands/businesses, 16% said to research products or services, and 9% said to engage with brands for customer-service reasons.
  • Advertising isn’t the taboo you might expect, with 30% of people quite happy to see ads on social networking sites (however, 30% are not). 57% ignore sponsored posts from businesses they don’t follow.
  • 37% will inspect a brand’s social media presence before making a purchase.

What are Australian businesses doing on social media?

Now, here is the good stuff. What are Australian businesses doing on social media? Let me tell you right now, not enough of you are using it. And you should be.

  • 53% of small businesses are not on social media, compared to 51% of medium businesses and 40% of large businesses.
  • The businesses that do use social media primarily use Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Large businesses (95%) mostly use social media for two-way communication with clients and contacts – this is up from 76% in 2016, and a model that small and medium-sized businesses need to follow.
  • Only 36% of small businesses that use social media update every day (up from 23% in 2016).
  • Most businesses do not measure their social media return on investment. If this is you, make sure you read Chapter 6 on measurement and analytics.

Only 40% of small businesses and 43% of medium-sized businesses have a social media strategy.

What does this mean for your business?

Plenty of things.

  • If you’re not using social media, you need to be. Your customers are there, and you are missing out on some excellent opportunities to engage with them. If your target audience includes anyone under the age of 40 and you’re not using social media, you’re crazy.
  • Social media is awesome for providing excellence in customer service.
  • If you only promote your business during work hours, say, 9am-5pm or even 8am-6pm, you miss out on valuable opportunities to engage, given most people use social media when they wake up and after work. This means you need to do some serious rethinking. You don’t need to be on social media 24/7, but you need to have more than just a 9-5 presence.
  • Given the clear majority of people use Facebook (95%), it’s vital that you consider Facebook as a marketing tool. The significantly smaller usage of other social media channels is a clear indication that you need to know who your target market is and where they are likely to be. Gary Vaynerchuk reckons all brands with a target audience aged between 20 and 100 need to be on Facebook. Believe him.
  • Write a social media strategy. If you use social media but don’t have a strategy, you’re wasting your time and energy. Your plan needs to link to your overarching business strategy and marketing plan.
  • Be aware of social media demographics, and how and where they access it. Know the demographics of your target market and know where they are. Be responsive to them. Increasingly, there is the expectation that businesses are on social media, so you need a valid reason if you are not. “I’m too scared” or “I can’t be bothered” doesn’t cut it.

I’ve been mucking around online for about 3 years not as successfully as I had hoped. It’s only in the last 6 or so months that things started to happen. I found a mentor and a group of people very much like me who had travelled the same path.

The reason, you may ask two dogs?

It’s probably a combination of a couple of things.

Firstly I wanted my presentation to be (what I thought) the greatest sales pitch you’ve come across, a website that would knock your eyeballs out.

Secondly, I felt as though I needed to know all the up to date stuff that was out there. There was always something new and shiny in my inbox that I just had to look at.

I fell into the Facebook/social media trap and I found it was like quicksand. The more you struggled to get out, the more it sucked you in.

And last but not least, I just didn’t start. PROCRASTINATION. I was always learning more and more, spending more and more dollars and time on courses and programs, perhaps the next one I buy will be the silver bullet for my success. It was just an excuse to not start. Procrastination is the killer of all future goals.

The only real thing I got out of this was EXPERIENCE (I learnt what not to do). Don’t get me wrong, right now as things are picking up for me I don’t really regret ploughing through this internet apprenticeship somehow. Perhaps it will leave me in good stead with those of you who can recognise my journey or those of you who want to start but are afraid to take the first step not wanting to go through 3 years of trial and error like I did.

Luckily in the course of my journey I’ve picked up and surrounded myself with some wonderful and successful partners and mentors. What I’m showing you now is what I believe to be all that is necessary to create a business online STARTING FROM  TODAY. You see, what I’ve learnt in my 3 years of bouncing around is this, in reality all that stuff out there, IT’S ALL THE SAME only dressed up a bit differently. Its like buying a same model BMW from two different car yards. Same model but different paint jobs and each salesman will try and convince you that their colour is better than the other colour. Same car. I’ve picked the companies that you see on my business page because I believe that the training and practicality of their platforms are strong, not pushy, are innovative and more importantly they have a genuine interest in your success. They actually get a hold of you and train you up properly and get you to start making some money right from the get go. But these are my choices only. You may have other products or services that you like, so perhaps all you’ll need from me is a marketing system that is simple and easy to execute.

But the reality is, whether you create your own thing (your own products or systems) or someone else’s or a combination of both, you are going to have to put your hand in your pocket and spend some money. But you should learn and become an expert at marketing your (built up) own brand FREE on platforms such as FaceBook, Instagram etc.

THE COST TO START UP YOUR OWN HOME BUSINESS

A website or landing page from $200 to $450-$500 is all you need. This is your BILLBOARD as to who and what you are. But it has to be simple and hit your potential customers like a slap in the face.

  1. A domain name. Depending on where you go, no more $45-$50. Pay it yearly for starters. Be original. Be you. Don’t be typical of domain names.
  2. Pick a product or service. I love iPro (a product I’m involved in) Don’t buy some monthly membership crap or any of those short courses. If you are serious about getting into this you’re going to have to eventually spend $2500 to get involved in the “big ticket” sales (there are larger dollar sales to be made but for starters, this will do – I’m happy at this level because its handleable) and become a partner with this platform and start earning REAL money right from the get go. They do the heavy lifting for you and you share the spoils. Once you get the hang of it, its set n forget. Money on autopilot.
  3. I also sell a EARN WHILE YOU LEARN money system where you get paid the full 100% on the day of the sale. Entry level for me was $500 and an admin charge of $190, both one off payments. Nothing more, zilch, nada. You’ll be blown away with this.
  4. I would strongly advise you to get involved with a LEAD GENERATING system. A simple system to get customers. Works for any product or service. One of the very best I’ve seen is PLS which is simple and extremely well used. The cost to this is $50aud monthly, but as you introduce others to this system the intro will pay a comm. Which pays your cost. So it becomes free. But you will learn initially how to create a following and a BRAND free using FaceBook.
  5. Same goes for an AUTO RESPONDER. I use Getresponse one of a few that works well with your website (wordpress) and the other products I have mentioned above. Cost is $20aud monthly. Again with this system, you will be advising your new customers to buy the same, you pick up commissions which pay for your subs. Autoresponders puts your business on autopilot.

SO THE BOTTOM LINE is less than $3000 for a complete setup of marketing and 2 products and a monthly subscription of $70aud (which can be cancelled anytime)

This is what I’m using right now and that keeps my very busy.

That’s it. With Facebook you have internal tutorials which you can learn from, but otherwise you can start creating a following and building your list today. I am involved with a couple of groups which are made up of people like you and I who have experienced the same starting difficulties as I did and undoubtedly you will also. Some excellent advice and hands on knowledge is at your disposal from these groups. You might be persuaded to pick up on a short FB marketing course from one of the group, perhaps the leader (and he/she may charge you between $100 to $200) but generally we all believe that we can generate leads from the internet FREE. This is what I’m using. If you start seeing results fairy quickly you may want to extend yourself further and get hungry for more knowledge. There is an amazing amount of info out there for you to absorb but again, all of this type of extras will come from groups or references from other people who enjoy helping others. The skys the limit.

So SORRY, yes there is a little bit of money to spend on creating a proven successful business online, on your kitchen table at a time to suit YOU. But EARN while you LEARN. And be taught the right way right from the start so that you don’t have to wander around in the internet wilderness for years like I did.

Be careful when you hear people spruiking the term “multiple streams on income” This maybe something to strive for later on when you consider yourself as a successful and an experienced marketer, but for the time being, let’s just become successful with one or two products because in reality, if you can’t be successful with a couple of products, what makes you think that having several will make you richer quicker.

And while you are considering business names and which markets to get into, if you feel that this internet marketing thing is the road which you want to get onto, set yourself up properly. Open a separate bank account. Collect receipts on everything that you buy in products, learning material, cost of websites, domain names and even use part of your home, electricity and mb phone as genuine tax deductions. But speak to an accountant to get the correct ratios that you can claim on. You will be surprised at what you can claim. If you start making serious money within say 12 months, ask your accountant to split your income with your wife/hubby or partner (just one of the many legal tax structures out there) and how you can minimise tax to the max.

Start making an income and I’ll show you how to fund your BITCOIN purchases with FREE money  (that’s another subject and income stream I will show you a little further down the track) If you have a current job and you develop a successful home business, I will show you how to get into your own home or an investment within 24 months. That could be the start of your real estate portfolio and a retirement that can’t come quick enough.

I don’t want to over simplify the online business within these couple of pages, but I would like to emphasise that one can fall into a misconception that online marketing is complicated and too tough for an individual who wants to get started. Yes it is hard and it’s not a walk in the park but you can learn this with logic, being with a group of like minded people, a coach, all the free tuition that you will find online and less money spent than you think. Because there is an industry out there that wants you to believe that it is hard and why you should be buying their product because they have all the answers. It’s just the $$$$$’s. So just be aware. The first 6 months is where you put in the effort to set yourself up properly but importantly, make sure you you are on the right track right from the start. Don’t get lost in all the razzle dazzle.

If I could close on an important point.

I saw some interesting facts the other day taken from Australia’s employment figures which came out last month. The growth of online business in Australia has grown to a bit over 20% of the workforce. That is a combination of people who have a primary  source of income and those who are trying to break into the online business. It’s also a fact that the pension will be restructured as will your superannuation if you think these will be your salvation. I will cover these points in another post shortly because what is fact has become a pretty frightening reality for the new generation of workers and those who are 25 to 55 now working, with a question mark over their retirement plans.

Why I turned to online marketing was because of a bad business decision I made a handful of years ago where I lost $500k’s (there abouts) cash. I’m on the wrong side of my time line so I had to find something which would generate an income to avoid the pension, pay off a mortgage and give me enough income to live a good life.

And the whole point of you looking and finding my site, is to

I’m being brutally honest here. Don’t spend money buying into anything or setting anything up if all you want to do, is to be part of some online community group that gets together weekly to sing kumbaya. A lot of these groups are like quicksand. Ooh yes, those shiny things in your inbox will try to convince you that the complications of online marketing will disappear IF you buy one of their products. Believe me, I’ve bought thousands of dollars worth of eLearning products and it all gets back to one thing and one thing only.

Of course I’m going to make money out of you if you buy something through my link but I don’t want to make ONE small sale out of you, I want to make a few. So it’s my interest to get you going as quickly as possible and to make sure I can help you cover your set up and buy in costs as soon as, and give you the where with all to be able to repeat what I showed you so that you can teach others the same steps.

This is an industry of LEVERAGE and DUPLICATION. That’s all. Where people make the cardinal mistake, is that they think that having learnt the fundamentals, they can now rejig what they have learnt and they modify a wheel that was never broken. Experience over time and trial n error will show you that this does not work.

Research has shown us that only about 5% of online marketers will make massive amounts of money. Another 22% will make reasonable amount of money and almost replace their jobs. 48% of online marketers will make money now and again to keep them interested and around 25% buy buy and buy stuff only to give it away because they are by now totally confused. Mainly because they didn’t follow some very simple rules. Didn’t follow, or just weren’t shown anything after they had bought products.

As you learn these simple progressive successful steps, you will over time blend in your own personality. You will probably look for added advantages such as YouTube, Podcasting, Instagram and who knows what will be out there in the next handful of years. But at least you will have the good solid foundations of marketing and all the extras will be a natural build on your already successful brand. Spend money on yourself to progress quicker for sure but only when you are already bringing in a steady and sustainable income.

Whoever is reading this, I don’t know you, but if ever there was an incentive to start a plan for retirement, this has to be it. It’s a brand new world we live in and the constraints that have become an everyday occurrence comes not only from your local economical and political pressures but also from the environment. What will life be like in another 20 to 30 years from now with temperatures rising and the pressures of external politics such as feeding the starving masses. All of this will take money to resolve which may mean pressure on local economics (country) Less money from governments to sustain pensions. Which means, how will retirees be living. What quality of life will they have? Yes, it will be an interesting future.

Which brings me back to the point of all this.

Every week, there is 5 million people all around the globe typing into googles search bar “how to make money online” This is not some made up imaginary number but a number concerned with their end of the line living standard. Will their retirement be a walk in the park or will they only survive and in order to survive, what must they do about it.

These people looking need to hear your story, your successes or your failures and how you managed to put together a plan which saved you from the uncertain future. It may be that you have dragged yourself out of circumstances that your reader is in currently and is looking for your advice as to what to do. If you have a success story, people are wanting to hear from you and they are willing to pay you for your advice and expertise to teach them how they too can become financially independent.

There is a hungry crowd out there waiting for your advice.

Well you don’t have to look too far for a market to work in.

Retirement and the fact that modern medicine is keeping us alive a lot longer

has presented the problem of HOW TO LIVE for possibly another 25 years.

Fact 1. Governments are running out of money to prop you up with a pension

Fact 2. Can you even afford to retire now and where? Do you keep working?

Fact 3. The cost of living may keep you in poverty eg. cost of energy

Fact 4. And the biggest plus, 5 million people per wk googling “how to make money online”

It took me some time to accept that life after my collapsed business setback would be very different path indeed.

A poor business decision, a breakdown in a relationship, finding yourself out of work at a critical time in your life or a brush with a life threatening disability, all makes for a realisation that to set yourself up again for your future and the future of your family, all of your past experiences, strengths and determination will have to be drawn upon again.

Each step will now have to be planned with no time out to go back to fix up mistakes. If you are on the wrong end of your timeline, this is critical. Of course, this all comes down to what you want out of life. Have you got the where with all to pick up the baton again and do the chase. Have you still got that fire in your belly? Have you got the balls?

Most will throw their hands up in the air and just give it away. I see this all the time. Others, too few I’m afraid, will say bugger it, I’m going to beat this. And they simply do. And generally because of their experience and maturity, they do it quicker (than before)

Don’t think that I’m somehow worried about the circumstances you may be in, whether its temporary or long term, it is what it is. More to the point, I am sorry about the possible opportunities that you may be missing out on, opportunities that other people in circumstances similar to yours (and mine)

have been in but able to conquer their setbacks and have now set their path to the life that they’ve always wanted. Not only that, with their maturity and their new found way of understanding what their “wealth” means to them,

they can now pursue their passions and other important aspects of their lives,

aside from generating the income that they need.

I know you have a passion that needs feeding but the harsh reality of this is, you need money.

Guess what? Time is not exactly on our side anymore so in order for you to reach those goals that you have in the back of your head you are going to need a plan, a pathway and someone who will point you away from dead ends

and show you the road where you can see the finish line.

Do not think, as a matter of fact get it right out of your head, that your goals aren’t achievable? One of my colleagues is in his early 70’s and is having the time of his life generating an income by doing the very simple and basic things

he has been taught over the last couple of years. He is not some millionaire, nor does he want to be, but he is a six figure income earner and has enough stashed away to never ever rely on the government in case he wants to retire. He is one of a few Aussie guys I work with who want to help you get what you want out of life and an example of a belief that anyone at any stage of their lives in any circumstance, can achieve the necessary security needed to fulfil the rest of their lives.

I’m not saying to drop everything you are doing at the moment but if you can spare some time to look at what is available out there and also get involved with a group of very ordinary people who are achieving small successes every week, you will understand where I’m coming from.

Get a feel of what is possible and achievable without committing yourself initially, no strings attached.

Just be an onlooker within the community and when the time is right for you,

we can then talk.

Stop Making Excuses

It’s there waiting for you. You just have to make the move.

I believe everyone came into this world with a particular destiny: a distinct blueprint, a uniqueness that asks to be lived and that is already present in potential in one’s life — like an acorn that holds the pattern for an oak tree only. Socrates and Goethe referred to this as their “diamond,” a kind of inner spirit or voice that compelled them to fulfil their destiny. Albert Einstein also spoke of an inner voice that shaped his speculations.

You can see it at play in the lives of the world’s accomplished people – the successful entrepreneurs, scientists, artists and others of this world – who have actualized their soul’s calling and fulfilled their personal myth, guided by this inner force. Yet not all acorns grow into the magnificent oak trees they might have become. If we all have dreams, why is it that so few of us manage to turn them into a reality?

Here are the excuses I made to silence my soul’s own calling… as well as the insights I gained from researching the lives of those who actualized their potential.

“I have no particular talent.”

If I had any particular talent, we would have known about it by now.

Does this sound familiar? I fell prey to a common trap, which is to believe that blueprints manifest out of the blue — without the 10,000 hours of practice and hard work involved in any journey of self-discovery and self-mastery.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Jacques Brel once said in a famous interview that he is convinced of one thing: “talent does not exist.” To him, talent is simply “having a burning desire to make one’s dream come true.” The rest is “all sweating, discipline and hard work.”

Think about it: Steve Jobs was fired from the company he started; J. K. Rowling was jobless and poor as a single parent. Others were clearly disadvantaged at the outset by physical standards: Michael Jordan was famously cut from his varsity team in high school; Muhammad Ali was thought to lack the physique of a great fighter. Other such stories abound.

But they had a dream, and a burning desire to make it real, so they put in tons of effort to achieve it.

“I’m trying hard but nothing’s working.”

After years of disarray, I started to ponder the daunting question: are you trying hard at the right thing? Do you think Michael Jordan could have been a great scientist, or Einstein a great basketball player?

Many people live their lives with their ladder leaning against the wrong wall, so every step they take brings them further in the wrong direction. As brilliantly said by Einstein: “Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.

Here’s a clue: when you are aligned with your soul’s calling, working hard does not drain you — it energizes you. This is precisely why you can outwork your competitors. You feel like a fish in water.

“I need to master everything before I can get started.”

I’ve been working very hard at levelling up my weaknesses over the years. It was painful enough, but I thought I could not start anything valuable beforehand.

Here’s what I’ve discovered: successful people focus on developing their strengths and natural capabilities, NOT their weaknesses.

You can’t be great at everything. The efforts and time you put in on your strengths will be much more rewarding in time — both in terms of personal satisfaction during the process, as well as in terms of return on investment.

This is confirmed by research that shows successful people share one thing in common: self-awareness. They know themselves well, and use this knowledge to choose the environments and situations that are most conducive to their success.

If they are not good at one particular skill, they will partner with someone who is, or will compensate with one of their strong points whenever possible.

“I don’t know what makes me tick.”

Though I readily acknowledge that I need to exercise physically to stay in shape, I long believed that my inner world – or inner muscles so to speak – should be left untouched. I mistook it for who I was.

Your soul’s voice is a whisper – the sound of which has long been subdued by the world’s noises, as well as your own conditioning, which is the result of how you internalized other people’s opinions over time. When you live life from the outside in, you let the world’s voices (whether internalized or not) dictate the way you feel and act. You loose touch with your inner wisdom.

But you are not your conditioning. Unless you work on separating the wheat from the chaff, you will be living by other people’s standards, thinking they are yours!

We all want to stand out in our own uniqueness, but then our desire to “fit in” might just make us hide.

You have to re-connect to your soul’s music: it is truly a powerful guide. It takes courage to let it play. But once you do, it will give you an unstoppable drive towards self-actualization through the blossoming of your unique seed.

“I don’t want to risk losing what I have”

Following one’s inner voice implies taking risks – sacrificing short-term comfort, status, wealth, etc. for something that is uncertain per se. It seems easier to conform and settle for the comfort of our current lives, even if they make us feel emptier and emptier inside.

But where there is no risk, there is no reward.

You get to choose.

You can be the hero of your own journey. You have a personal myth that’s asking to be lived.

Will you settle and die with your dream inside? Or will you choose the road less travelled?

What is it in your heart that you know you must be, do and have? And most importantly, why?

I mean, what’s stopping you from doing those things that you’ve always wanted to try but weren’t really game enough to ‘av a go.

The modern terminology to this I think is “outside the box” getting out of your comfort zone. Trouble is, if you want something bad enough, it really does lead to you extending yourself as far as it takes to achieve what you are really after.

Whether it’s some sort of sporting achievement you are after, a work related promotion or trying your hand at that business that you’ve always dreamt of, living in that warm fuzzy safe zone will never help you extend yourself to achieve what you’re aiming for.

Our reluctance from stepping outside maybe has come from our up bringing or the circle of friends you are in. Mom and dad taught us not to rock the boat by being comfortable with what we are doing just in case it sinks and we can’t swim for it. The school system never taught us to just dive in and work it out while you’re coming up for breath.

Today, things are changing.

What if we have a go at something and get it horribly wrong. We may lose some money, we may feel embarrassed or ashamed of our failure and just admit, shock horror, we sometimes just get it wrong, after all, we are just human.

This is a beauty. How do we handle earning a couple of thousand dollars a week (perhaps even a day). Success is scary. How would you feel if you just hit it right outside the park? You strayed away from the flock, tried something new, became a success away from that flock you were used to and found yourself in your own paddock. Scary!

We get set in our ways, live on auto pilot mode and do the same thing year after year. It’s working well enough, so why change? That requires effort, we have to step up to the plate and step out from the cosy flock of sheep. That sounds like serious work and most of us won’t change our ways particularly if it involves extra work and a degree of risk, or heaven forbid, CHANGE.

If we do something new and it’s fabulous, will we be the one that others will follow? WHOA! This creates responsibility and attention. It’s easy sitting in the back seat but centre stage where you get hit with the spotlight is where the best part of the show is acted out and bravery certainly pays off.

Don’t think that this outlook on life is something new. Complacency has been part of mankind ever since…….

About 2000 years ago Aristotle said “if you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got” Just goes to show, nothing really has changed.

So next time you hear a baa baa baa coming from you, head the other way, go left or right or even grow wings and take off. Whoever told you sheep can’t fly was a liar.

Did anyone see 4Corners last night (Mon 21st)

Is this supposed re adjustment from skeptics or is there something more to this? Which ever way the wind blows, the time is here to realign your thinking about the security of your family and the inevitability of the day you decide to finish work. But why let anyone esle decide on your behalf. BE IN THE POSITION WHERE YOU CAN DECIDE. It really is now UP TO YOU.

Now I know that we’ve all heard experts say “watch out, it’s coming” the CRASH I’m talking about. That talk comes in cycles. However, what’s worrying this time is the fact that household debt in Australia is now second highest in the world. Us Aussie home owners, on average, have ONE DOLLAR coming in but an outgoing TWO DOLLAR debt. How is this going to work? Owning real estate in Australia is debt driven and we’ve been conned. Banks and the media are the main drivers of this with the politicians turning a blind eye. We used to have a saying in the eastern suburbs of Sydney that buyers here have a sickness called FOMO (fear of missing out) Real estate is almost like a sport. You packed up the kids on a Saturday morning and it was off to the open houses and/or auctions. You meet up with your friends and you discuss what you had seen and swap “maybe” “possibly” stories over a latte coffee.

We’ve been very lucking in Australia. 25 to 30 years of uninterrupted growth, pretty damn good employment figures and low mortgage interest rates, creating what could be a perfect storm of a (likely) adjustment. Now the reality is sinking in. We are living in an age of “huge disruption” Our very livelihood is about to change course. It’s already happening. Uber, Airbnb, Bitcoin and the new age of robots all coming to a workplace near you. Our main manufacturing has gone, agriculture is struggling, companies are being bought out or moving off shore, wages have been stagnate for a number of years and the real unemployment rate, especially those in the 24 to 35 year group are almost at double figures. There is a tremendous amount of angst out there, plain ordinary worry to moms and dads and even the young dreamers. Along with those good times, came the cowboys who were smart and slick and had a sales pitch you just couldn’t refuse. After all, you didn’t even have to find the cash to get into this you beaut investment. Just use that equity maaate. Naive, gullible, short sightedness “but the banks just gave me the money within the week”.

Do your best to get a $50k or better still, a $100k line of credit from your mortgage provider. Do whatever it takes to get this (might cost you a few hundred to get valuation and set up). Then cut up that card. Do not touch this line of credit at the fear of death. Then ring up your insurance broker and set up a PERMANENT SICKNESS AND ACCIDENT DISABILITY insurance policy where benefits aren’t paid until 12 months if there is a claim. You will be staggered in how cheap this premium really is, and its tax deductible. Now you will be saying what’s this all about and there is a very logical and protective reason for these two steps. Don’t get caught out. Full explanation as to why email me

But I digress.

Perhaps this has been the mentality that we were taught for all those years. Get a trade, go to uni, get that one job and stick with it for life. Our teachers and even our parents hammered this into us. And if things got tight, just go get a second job down at the club and “she’ll be right” Sorry, goooone. All out the window. What jobs, what industry? Australia’s economy is driven largely by the building industry. If that fails, ladies and gentlemen, we are fucked. It might be that we will become employed by Asian owners and they will tell us which jobs are available and at what wage. And what if we went back to school or we got retrained. For what job? It’s a new age folks. The new stuff that we will be living with will be robotics, digital commerce, the service industry, education. It may sound dim but with all the old out of date work mentality thrown out the window, new opportunities will be created and succeeded with. That will happen soon enough but what happens NOW. What if there’s a huge revaluation of real estate around the corner. What happens if your company has just been bought by an overseas company and they’ve put the cutters through it and you’ve been tossed onto the “used by” pile. What happens if they keep you on but you have to take a wage adjustment. What happens if you’ve had an accident, you’re off work for a month or two and you  find that they don’t want you back. What if you can’t even get back into the workforce due to your injury or sickness. This is happening every day now folks. Read the papers, look at the evening news. The worry is literally killing people.

We have basically been taught to live in a single income lifestyle. As little as ten years ago we never heard the terminology, passive income, creating several passive income streams. Now more than ever before you as a young person or a middle aged (35,40 year olds) person MUST at least consider looking at the many opportunities that this new digital age has brought us. Because of this new way of conducting business, never before has there been the systems and programs available which can create multiple streams of income to those who take the time to understand the very simple ways in which this income can be created. There is an industry out there which has all the razzle dazzle to try and entice you to their marketing systems promising you easy wealth. MONEY CAN BE MADE but creating this money could cost you thousands or if done right, very little to reasonable amounts which won’t kill you. Most of what you can learn is FREE. But you have to know where to look and how to put it together and be almost guaranteed to be a success.

The trick is to find a MENTOR or a COACH who has your success very much in mind with their success. Get in touch with me and let me show you how anyone can achieve what you may only dream about.

CASH, A PASSIVE INCOME STREAM and then BRICKS N MORTAR. IT’S SIMPLER and CHEAPER than you think. It’s hands on and it’s real.

It bemuses me constantly when I open my inbox checking out another offer too good to be true. Whether its subscribing, getting amongst groups or building lists from you beaut programs, I am inundated with offers which promise me that their program will catapult me into the stratosphere of list building and prosperity. In my three years of searching the home business industry I find that the key component to all this marketing is based on attracting new people coming in and learning (trying to learn) how to try and connect with other new wannabes out there. Nearly all the programs out there want you to sell their copied systems to others with the big statement that theirs is the mother of all systems. Well guess what. They are all basically the same just dressed up differently. You want to buy a red Mustang but the showroom only has one left, and its a black one. Same car. You know where I’m coming from. The industry wants to complicate itself because the different systems out there will argue that they are the simplest most uncomplicated and cheapest on the market and this is why you should buy it. Anyone can learn all of this “stuff” free off the net and not pay for anything. But believe me, that takes time and you could grow despondent and eventually drift away.

There are other ways. The fact is that social media has created a level playing field so it doesn’t matter if you’ve been in the business for 5 min or you are CEO of a multi-million dollar company. The rules are the same. This is what makes the industry so exciting and accessible to everybody and anybody. The world has been shaken by this incredible disruption of digital technology. Not since the Industrial revolution has there been such a change in the way in which business and commerce will be conducted. And we’ve only scratched the surface. Now is the time to take advantage of these amazing opportunities out there. But which opportunities should you look at and chase? This to me was the 64 thousand dollar question. Which one should I go for and will I be comfortable and proud to promote the program or system. Let’s face it, those of you who are reading this are probably building or getting involved with other groups in order to create interest in your marketing plan so that you too can be one of those hundreds of shiny things that invade our inbox’s daily. The question is, how long have you been doing this for and how much money have you actually earned so far? Statistics say that you are probably in the 90% (there abouts) group who barely scratches out some sort of a living if at all. Yes, you see all the time in various product promotions a handful of people seemingly making thousands per month. Well I see the same people constantly repeating the same earnings but with different products almost like a rent-a-success crowd. Hmmmmm.

Getting back to why you are here reading this. I would hazard a guess that originally you got onto the net to see if you could actually make money online and how quickly would you see a result. This is why I got online. I made a bad business decision (you can see my story on my web site) and I wanted back what I had lost. How was I going to do this? THE NET. What I learned after spending thousands of dollars on subscriptions, courses, programs (you name it) hours at seminars and workshops is probably what you are going through now. My summary. It’s like the wheel has turned a full circle for me. IT’S ALL PRETTY MUCH THE SAME. You just have to find THAT THING that makes you comfortable so that when you are promoting it, you do it with passion and conviction.

To me, what I needed was MONEY. I had to find something that created a cash flow for me and get paid virtually on the day of the sale. And more importantly, prove to me that cash can be made with a system that requires the same time and energy as floundering around with most other non producing marketing systems. Selling small products like vitamins (just as an example) you will find it difficult to make any real money at all. Its defeated by the structure of most product based multi level marketing companies. Cash is King I say. And I have found a system that’s been around for about 10years and changing peoples lives. Its simple, easy to implement and is fully automated. You have a great back office structure and you can get paid on the day of the sale, the full hundred percent of the purchase price with no middlemen cutting up the commission. This is perfect for me. I create my own cash flow, I’m in control. I need this because I want to have a couple of affiliate programs I want to sell also, which takes a little time to set up properly, where they (the owners) do all the heavy lifting for me and I get 50% of whatever they get across the line. This works 24/7. And my cash business creates the weekly income I need to pay my bills. I can then sell my (health) product which I have a passion for but there’s no pressure with this product line to produce as I already have a few income streams. My product customers come from these streams without me rattling their cages.

And my end game plan is to buy real estate with the income I have produced over the last two years. Being a cautious Australian (well, so I’m told) I like my rewards to be felt in bricks and mortar. Maybe it’s just an Aussie thing. And just a quickie, we in Australia have a housing shortage (would you believe –on the east coast) and anything you build or renovate you have a line up of people wanting to buy or rent, so if you have invested correctly you too could end up with a surplus after all outgoings have been paid. Just another form of passive income.

So in short, CASH, PASSIVE INCOME, (perhaps PRODUCT) and REAL ESTATE. Now this may seem a little complicated but let me assure you, broken down into segments, you just concentrate on doing one thing at a time. Most importantly YOU NEED TO MAKE MONEY NOW and prove to yourself that it is do able. I’m a great believe in the KISS formula (Keep It Simple Stupid) so nothing you get from me is complicated. So if you want to see how this works and how simple is actually is, look over my shoulder for a while and see if you would feel comfortable doing the things that I am doing. Then and only then get yourself involved and start creating the sort of income you know you can produce. Don’t get taken up by the hype out there. This is simpler than you think.

Trav. Aged 57. Was in the motor parts industry for about 20 years. We knew each other through our kids. With the demise of the motor industry in Australia, the knock on affect filtered down through Australia and he was retrenched about 4 years ago. Had trouble finding work which he was trained for but got a gig with Masters (building suppliers). Guess what, the whole chain was sent into liquidation 18 mths ago. Out of work again. Wife has had to step up into more part time teaching (when she can get it) Luckily Trav has found about 20 to 30 hours at the big B getting about $25 per hr and competing with other’s in similar situation as he is in and of course, uni students. About 6 years ago when property was booming and the rates came down the family upgraded from a unit to this semi in outer western suburbs of Sydney. The mortgage rates are low at the moment but it’s an inevitability that they will eventually start moving upwards. So life is on a knifes edge with the reduction of family income. They may have to sell. They may make some profit from the sale but the dilemma will be buying further out or rent. Rents are high and its dead money. And what about work if he moves further out?

So what does he do? Try and get more shifts, go back to college and re train himself? which may take 6 to 12 months. Get a second or even a third job. Drive Uber? You’re not getting any younger mate. And the prospect of relying on governmental handouts doesn’t sit well with him at all. He believes that he and his family deserves better.

I wouldn’t say that this is a typical story that I hear every day but the fact is that the work and keeping up that standard of living is getting harder and harder to maintain. I think everybody out there has to realise that we are just in a period of a massive disruption, our own modern day industrial revolution. Its called the digital age, bit like THE Industrial age which change the world back in the late 1700’s. The world and the economies are now driven by digital technology. Running the business now can be done with a mobile phone and a laptop. It is what it is. And these world wide commercial economical and political changes aren’t restricted to Australia alone. The whole world is being changed. And the people living in these western countries are all experiencing the same problems as my mate Trav.

touch- tablet in hands

The upshot of all this upheaval is, where and what do you start looking for to maintain some sort of stability and a working life that you will be happy with and you could take right through until you wanted to quit working.

If you don’t understand and accept that things are changing completely to a new norm, then you will be trapped in a world where you will never have any control over. If you’re not careful, you will become just another sheep.

Here’s some stats compiled by Zephoria Marketing:

Worldwide there is 2.27billion active facebook users for July 2017

There are 1.79billion active mb users

1.36billion are active daily users of facebook

Five new profiles are created every second

42% of marketers say that using FB is critical to their business

And we are only talking about FB above. Instagram, google and plain “old” fashion email marketing has another set of figures as well.

It’s now a level playing field to everyone whether you are a small individual or a multi million dollar company. The rules are the same.

Trav, you are not alone. But consider this, if you take on a second or third job you might make some extra bucks but the tax just nullifies it and the time and effort is just not worth it. Yes you could go back to college and re train yourself but that still doesn’t guarantee you any job on completion anyway. Its a maybe! Instead, may I be bold enough to tempt you to look at trying your hand at marketing online. Don’t dive into anything immediately but join one of my successful online marketing groups and “look over our shoulders” as it were, and see what we are doing about guaranteeing our future with simple fully automated money making strategies. Most of us have gone through an expensive and time consuming apprenticeship only to discover that this business can be simple if you can avoid being sucked in to the glitz and glamour of all those shiny temptations that land in your inbox.

Absolutely you can. And the best way to start is to find a coach who has done the hard yards and who has your success as part of his/her success. Let your coach show you how you can use social media as a free advertising tool and avoid paying out big bucks buying courses that are available for free. Yes, you are going to have to pay something somewhere along the line to get yourself involved with marketing and setting up your own business, but instead of searching the industry for that program that you absolutely feel comfortable with and proud to promote, I and all of our group have done the research and have what we believe to be ethical, simple and automated systems and programs that are available to all of our prospective customers which won’t kill your finances.

So to all the TRAV’s out there, take heart. The mere fact that you are reading this shows that you are at least thinking about the noise that’s going on about online marketing. But more importantly, EARN WHILE YOU LEARN while you still have that job of yours. And have fun doing it.

EMPOWER. We’ve all come across this one

at some time haven’t we?

Well, how the mighty have fallen. A lesson in pure arrogance.

And yes, I bought into Empower some 3 years ago. Luckily, I would only go the monthly $25.

I wanted to see what exactly happens with the subscriptions.

Well let me tell you, talk about a bullying pitch.

They were well known for dictating on the edge. Their philosophical approach was

You’re either in or you’re out and when I mean IN

they’re expecting you to load up the CC and pay the BIG BUCKS

up to $14000 back in 2013-14.

I’ve heard it said that they almost had a cult like following.

I wonder how those unfortunates feel now how they must view online marketing

how they are surviving after cashing in their CC, taking loans (on a promise)

You live by the sword, you die by the sword.

The system is based on bullshit and bullying.

This is an extract taken from a review by a person who also spent big in this system

but got out quite a few months ago when just like me, saw that Empowers arrogance

would eventually take its toll.

“…………but this system is designed in a way that highly experienced internet marketers

and network marketers are making a KILLING off of significantly less experienced,

well-intentioned prospects while setting them up for failure.

The training within Empower Network is a facade to make you THINK you can make money,

but the real purpose of this system is helping immoral, cash-hungry

experienced marketers exploit innocent people, getting them to charge up their credit cards

and clean out their bank accounts just so they can gain a little more

fame and fortune within Empower network”.

It actually still surprises me that there are still so many people out there who still get ripped off

after all that is reported and seen on TV. People who pay big cash sums to get into

gambling scams, dodgy property investments systems like Empower, instant money making scams.

If you are reading this from one of my group sites all we are wanting you (as a newbie) to do is

look over our shoulder for a while and get comfortable in what you see

and when the time is right ask us how to get involved.

We are not after any money of yours

until you “GET IT” and see and understand the possibilities.

Getting started in the online world can be daunting. So get comfortable with what you see

and believe me when I tell you that you don’t have to spend big initially.

Finding a coach is the best tip I can give. He/she will get you to your financial destination

as quickly as you let them.

You can and will make money online but you must believe in your coach

Focus on one system only while you are learning and within a short period of time

you will become the expert in that particular platform and you too will start seeing money

top up your bank account.

If you make $10, the same steps are taken to make $10000. You just get better at it.

Start NOW while you still have a job.
